Design / construction : 2021 – 2022

The two-storey neoclassical residential building is facing Erotokritou and Skalkota Street. It is in the historic, medieval center of Chalkida. Near the house is the metropolitan church of Agia Paraskevi, dated since the Venetian period. The facade has morphological elements of local architecture mixed with the neoclassicism of the early 20th century. It has a solid, rectangular construction and interesting architectural elements, with a wooden roof (tiled), and an independent entrance for each level.
The restoration of the building and its functional utilization will be achieved by repairing and strengthening the load-bearing wall of the existing main building, with a view to absolute respect for its form and integration into the city, the removal of the additional buildings and its extension to the south side to meet the functional requirements and needs of the new owner.
