This project is about the upgrading of the existing shopping center of Halkida to an Open Trade Center (open mall). The aim is to improve the image of the city’s commerce, in order to strengthen the local market and to improve the pedestrian area within the city’s center.
The purpose of the intervention is to create an open mall within demarcated areas to become the Open Trade Center of the city. Inside the open mall, several activities will take place such as:

• Developing practices for the promotion of the company to the public.
• Public space upgrade (sidewalk network, lighting, cleanliness, green management).
• Ensuring access for the disabled.

Planning a feast of actions and cultural events with professionals of the city.
These interventions aim at a unified urban development as they are expected to stimulate the market and upgrade the city’s public spaces.
