Agali
Located in the coastal settlement of Agali, in the area of Agia Anna, Evia, this hospitality project was designed with a clear focus on spatial experience and sensitive integration within the scale of the village.
The building is developed over a basement, ground floor, first floor and attic level, accommodating ten furnished rooms–apartments. The design approach is based on human scale, clarity of movement and the creation of private spaces that function more as compact dwellings than conventional hotel rooms.
The entrance and reception area act as a transitional threshold between public and private space. Guest rooms are organized along clear internal circulation paths, while balconies and the roof terrace extend daily living outdoors, reinforcing the relationship with the landscape and the local rhythm of life.
Particular emphasis was placed on universal accessibility. All levels are connected via an elevator, and a specially designed room for guests with reduced mobility is seamlessly integrated into the overall spatial layout.
The project seeks a balance between the functional requirements of tourist accommodation and a sense of domesticity, proposing a place of stay that is not declared, but experienced.
